Resul Pookutty, who has won Oscar as sound engineer for Danny Boyle’s movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, wants to fulfill his dream to direct Amitabh Bachchan in a movie someday.
Resul Pookutty has a script for his dream but desires to wait for some more time period before directing a movie, especially when his movies are working successfully and professionally he is on a high level. The brilliant sound engineer just released a biography ‘Shabdatharapadham’ in Malayalam and aimed at following it up in English language as ‘The Sound of Milky Way’.
Resul Pookutty and Baiju Natrajan have jointly written the biography and published by well known publishing house of Penguin. It includes the checkered career of Resul from an common man to become a famous Oscar winning person after the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
Maestro A R Rahman and legendary lyricist Gulzar were attend the occasion of biography releasing. Though Resul is very glad with his achievement at the Oscars but his family members, especially sister, is not pleased with the progress. In fact, she said Resul to return the Oscar award if possible, because she wanted him to be accessible to their family members like past time.
